Our Story

Gurus in Koreanization

Our Investment Criteria

We invest in Web3 early-stage companies, wanting to enter the Korean market. We are willing to consider other geographies, but our biggest strength is in Korea.

We selectively invest in seed rounds as an entry point. We want to invest in the first institutional round of investment to be part of the company early on.

We typically invest $50,000-$100,000 in Pre-Seed rounds of $1 million or less. We write checks of $100,000 – $300,000 for Seed rounds smaller than $3 million. Our goal is to be a meaningful investor with small checks and high value-add.

We have reserves to participate in subsequent rounds of investment. We want to support the entrepreneurs throughout the entire lifecycle.

We make ~12 new investments per year. This pace allows us to work with a wide network of founders, while also being available to support those we have funded.

We have a strict conflict of interest policy for new investments. We dodge companies that we believe are in direct competition with our portfolio companies’ current plans and/or future aspirations.
